hiding in-game junctions

Could anyone please tell me the key command to toggle hide/display in-game junctions? (not map-view)

In 2010 there are icons top left near the menu button, one of those does it.

That sounds good. I've not seen that one before, and can't find it in Startup options. All I can see is the box where you can uncheck Show in-game help (and lose the arrows), but no size reduction option.

Is this something only included in later versions, or is it an additional downloadable rule? If it's the latter, can you tell me the kuid and where to get it please?

From memory, it's a built-in rule in later versions (known as Set Helper Icon Size or similar, as stated in the post you quoted)

By the way, Shane/etc.: where do you folks find these wonderful little train profile icons (avatars??) you all have on your forum ID headers? Are they gifs,bmps?? Is there a big central site or is it just a matter of the right image type/resolution? . Mr. Finishzit even has an enormous Baldwin Centipede! Is there a tutorial on how to attach these pics to my post entries on this site? I presume it works for other sites too.

Indeed. Click Forum Actions above, then Edit Profile, then Edit Avatar, then follow the instructions.
