 I just bot this yesterday and am looking for patches and upgrades etc, but I can't find Trainz Railwayz any where at this site.

I'm in Canada, so I wonder if this is just a Canadian name for Trainz 2006. The copyright date on the manual is 2007, so it's not the latest version.

Here's a link to a review:

Once I get this cleared up, hopefully I can "get up a head of steam" and maybe "make the grade". (Sorry 'bout that, couldn't resist :hehe:)

Trainz Classics 1&2 with the content of TRS2006 included. No upgrades available without buying the latest versions of the sim. (TS2009 or TS2010)

Trainz Railwayz is actually TC 1&2 with Trainz 2006 with service pack 1 installed. You should have two DVDs in the box. The idea was to include the two so you can copy all the older missing built in content in TC from 2006.

Not sure but I think it already has all the updates for each on the discs. I'm using this now and never checked for anymore updates or service packs.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply SR ...

Pretty good for New Year's Eve. I'd toast you with some Tennessee sippin' whiskey if I had any. How about a wee dram o' Scotch?

Thanks again!

Sparky, that's right, I was wondering about ...

that second disk, but I momentarily forgot about it.

Actually, I don't plan on starting tonight (PAR-TAY), just laying the groundwork for the long weekend.

Thanks you guys, this is a very lively forum indeed!

Trainz Railwayz

I bought the same 2-DVD game pack last July and have been using the Trainz Classic version primarily since it has a lot of good built-in content for urban mass transit/light rail. It has less built-in content overall than the other DVD (Trains TRS2006) but once you get used to downloading from the DLS you can usually get what you are looking for.
