Superfluous joy and optimism is not so popular this year anywhere. Still I just have to shout this out. I am so happy, so very happy with Trainz again. Retiring a week ago has finally given me enough time to concentrate fully to this wonderful hobby, Train simulators and other big vehicle simulators. My career was all about driving heavies, but I have never driven real trains, only virtual ones by using Trainz among other sims for about 15 years.

In my opinion, train driving and content creation using Trainz is truly a unique way of relaxing, inspiring and also challenging ourselves. In Trainz world I can forget the bad bad real world for a while, and who does not appreciate that these days. And a one more thought... experiencing bugs with each and every driving sim ever created since about 1995 actually gives a lot of understanding towards developers. Much more than I once had. Your job is not easy guys, I hope you can earn enough $ so you can go on at least 30 years or so.:)

Congratulations Tuuliaki, my retirement is set for the end of March 2021 and I am also hoping to have more time for Trainz, maybe even learn to create assets and work more on routes! and the new Microsoft Flight Sim is on my list for Christmas.... :)

Hello and greetings. I've driven my train already today (TRS19 Plus) but right now I'm patrolling my assigned area looking for ships to sink (sub sim). I'm not retired but I'm fortunate enough to have a job that absolutely love and I work from home. No schedule as long as I get the work done. There's so much freedom I feel retired. Got to go. I have "smoke on the horizon." I'll Trainz some more yet too this evening.

Hello

I drove the full length of the Mojave Route today and it is very exciting.
I generally enjoy the track layouts of Trainz Routes, there is no other Train Simulator in such quality.
Siding tracks lead to facilities, all functional, really nice, in other games the tracks just stop when its out of the camera range of the main track.

Later I'll try to create an own route but I read and watch some more tutorials before I start.

With best regards
Georg

Hey Tuuliaki! Thanks for the nice post and good luck for the future!
I won't ever retire because I designed my own business from the ground up late 2015 and finally nearly ready to bewgie. (bushfires, pox ridden diseases etc etc).
It's taken this long to gear up properly and tech myself how to do stuff. (semi automated, small scale mass production of precious metals items :)
Just returned to Trainz and happy with 19 but I'm also into ETS/ATS 2, and deffo getting MS FS2020 soon!
See ya on/in the road/tracks/skies lol!

Welcome Tuuliaki to retirement. I wish you all the good health so you can enjoy your time Trainzing and doing other things you enjoy without the worries of working and health.
