You are not alone in getting it wrong 'Railroader' I've been under the false impression for years that the only no-no on the Forum was being impolite to other. The subject of how people have got into Trainz has come up many times over the years and space and cost relating to model railroads is likely high on the list however I and many other I'm sure look forward to your future contributions to the Forum and hope you enjoy your newly discovered pastime. Thanks for your statement Peter. Maybe I'll upload a route once I get permission from the owners of assets I use. Right now I'm working on a fictional Canadian route what I call "CN Southern Saskatchewan" which entails the following: (1) Yorkton (main terminal/yard/IMS), (2) Melville (smaller yard 80mi South of Yorkton), (3) Lipton (smaller yard about 50mi West of Melville), (4) Rocanville (about 85mi South of Yorkton), (5) Wadena (almost 100mi or so West of Yorkton). I have a Potash plant and some grain terminals set up as well as warehouses, refineries and grain terminals so far. The trip from Yorkton to Wadena SK or from Yorkton to Rocanville SK consists of 200 to 220 baseboards - seeing as how I read on a forum that 2.5 Trainz baseboards equals 1 mile. Would be nice if it was just 1 baseboard equaling a mile though imho. I may do a 120mi line South Eastward from Yorkton Saskatchewan to Minnedosa in Manitoba.
