HELP!!

Hello,
i recently brought a coppy of Trainz Railroad simulater passenger edition beacause my computer met the requirements when i got home i installed it but in the middle of the installation it got suck on the file:C:\Program Files/Auran/TRS2004/World/3rd_party_assets.ja and then i got a error saying Feature error Component:World File:data2.cab
Error: incorrect function. does anyone know hot to fix this?



please reply soon:'( i got it on xp* one more thing: could i download it and then use my serial key?

i sorted the first error by cleaning both diskd but it got stuck again on c:/program files/auran/trs2004/world/sp3.ja the the error said feature error feature:world 2 file: d:/dats3.cab(cyclic redundancy cheak)

Hello

Another hint for you, disable any antivirus software and firewall software running in the background.

Also try to see if the discs work on another PC.

Antivirus off okay, but telling someone to turn off any firewall they might have running... in my opinion that is a bad idea: it's like telling someone it's ok to stick their head out the carriage window while the train is driving on an electrified stretch of rails. :hehe:

What AHSAN means is dis-connect from the INTERNET first. Alot of anti-virus software programs can corrupt installation.

ive figured out whats wrong with it the disks are damged i try to save the files on my disk and it got stuck on data2... i tryed to open it with winzip but it said the file was damaged can someone upload the file D:/data2.cab

Take it back to the shop and ask for a replacement copy.

If it's TRS2004 there's no telling how old the discs are.

Failing that, consider buying a more recent version direct from Auran - the prices are quite reasonable and in the case of TRS2006 or TS2009 you get much more built in content.

Well, you should get an anti-virus program...if you don't, you'll have problems. Your OS has a built in firewall....
