Help with Qr Level X-ings

I would appreciate it if someone could help me setting up the QR level crossings by psycho_aussie. KUID2:1551:100308:1 is one example. I place and connect the X-ing and set the properties usually with no pedestrian and booms and save it as such. Taking a quick drive the X-ing appears in Driver with the properties as set. Returning to Surveyor the X-ing reverts back to default. Opening the properties dialog box shows the setting I originally set it to. Closing the dialog without changing anything returns the crossing to the settings originally set. I even tried to save the changes made with a specific name, to no avail. Accessing the route from Driver the X-ing reverts to the default again. Can anyone give me some advice on this, I really like these crossings. Thank you

These settings are most likely saved in a session and not in the route. When you open the rout, you are going to see the default values, and not those you need to operate the crossings.

Hope this helps.

Hi John. Thanks for the responce. As I said in my post even opening a session in Driver the x-ings have reverted to default settings. So the settings are not safed in a session. Still confused:o

I have it on reasonably good authority, it has something to do with the original scripts which handled such, unfortunately, I'm no scripter, so I wouldn't know where to start looking, to try and offer and solution, but you're not alone in longing for these wonderful level crossings.

Maybe the creator could respond ?

That would make sense. I forgot about that issue since I haven't used any of the older crossings in ages. I use all BSSF50 crossings, which are US - style crossings. Are they similar to the QR Level crossings?
