Help with Portals

Is there anyway to have the Portal send only one consist instead one every 5min or 60 mins. I want to send only 1 consist any ideas?

ummm. create a new one? which has more features like, 'send # trains through portal

The only thing I can suggest is to add the 'Emit Train Now' rule from the DLS. It allows you to create a single train from any given portal. Put this rule in your session and delete all trains from the portal settings. Then just have a few trains dotted around the line. Save Sssion and run it. Then during a session when you want the train to appear, click on 'Add Train' (bottom right next to hud just above the 'driver command' area). Then in the window that pops up, select your locos/truck/cars from the left list and add them to your right list in the order/direction you want them to appear. Next choose the portal you want the train to appear and then click on 'Emit Train'. The 'Add Train' window should close and your train will hopefully appear at the portal of your choice.

Set the repeat time to 6000 - the largest allowed for a portal - and your not likely to see another train unless your session runs for a very long time indeed. Unportals allow even longer intervals I believe.
