Help with DMT UK crossing skirted

Do these actually work as I’ve tried most ways to get the DMT level crossing to work with an approaching train.
Installed the TRC 4 trigger amended the values in the properties box and placed the TRC traffic stopper.
Have I missed something to enable the crossing to work.

They use to work OK but found they became more intermittent the more of them I used. Advice from others suggested the 'ATLS Xing MCB S' and 'D' crossings may work better and so far they have. I use the 'Short LOW' versions as the road I'm using connect to them better. Peter
