Help....Placing base boards at desired height.

Is there a way to place base boards at certain heights? I have been using the topology 'use height' set to the desired height after placing the baseboard. I would like to place the base board at a preset height. When building a route it is very time consuming the way I am doing it, especially for very high mountains at 1000 or better. Thanks

Prior to Surveyor 2.0 (S20) the answer is no. Manually using the "set height" brush tool (with its very limited radius) as you described and moving around the baseboard like a broom has been my method as well.

The new S20 interface provides at least two solutions - the brush radius has been dramatically increased so it can now cover an entire baseboard, and the new marquee tool which allows multiple baseboards (not sure how many - possibly up to 20???) to have their heights set simultaneously.

The ideal solution would be an entered height setting that would apply to all new baseboards. We are slowly getting there after 21 years of Trainz (first released 2001).

ok...thanks pware.....good to know. I though with all the new stuff it might have been slipped in. I agree with the idea to set a height value for the baseboard. I am working on extending my mountain route end and been avoiding it just because its so tedious and boring work to do. Thanks again for the info.
