Help on scrap metal product

I am setting up an industry to produce scrap metal. I am using a LARS track BI2 General, <kuid2:30671:27229:1>. The products I am using are, Scrap Metal, <kuid2:81150:46:4> and Scrap metal, <kuid2:30671:9720410:1>. I have tried rolling stock, Gondola 50ft Norfolk Southern 194459 LARS, <kuid2:56063:100359:1> and Gondola 60ft Missouri Pacific 650917 ant, <kuid2:56063:160001:1> for loading. When loading my train load info show scrap metal loaded, but nothing show up in the cars. Why doesn't the commodity show up in the cars as when loading general goods it does. I am using TS2010EE. I would just like to see something happen when loading. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks....

1. Have you configured the LARS track correctly?

2. Will those cars accept scrap?

3. If "No" to 2 above, have you tried the freight cars by Maddy25?

Use the Railgon Gondola <kuid2:124017:5013:3> it will carry the scrap loads. The Gondola that you are using will not carry that type of load without re-configuring. It will carry these crushed cars <kuid2:124017:27007:1>

Gondola 50ft Norfolk Southern 194459 LARS, <kuid2:56063:100359:1> and Gondola 60ft Missouri Pacific 650917 ant, <kuid2:56063:160001:1> are only set up for lumber, general goods and containers.

Thanks to Phil, Johnny and Bob for the reply. I am going to use the CSX 50' gondola, it is working great. I don't know what I would do if it wasn't for this forum. It has been a great help to me....Thanks again....
