Help needed with NSW passenger rolling stock

Hey guys,

Total Trainz newbie here (bought it last week) and LOVING it!
I've already downloaded some NSW (Australia) rolling stock from the DLS.
I can't believe though that I can't find modern Cityrail (NSW) double
deck passenger rolling stock. They're the most common trains we use
every day but I can't find any to download. I'm sure they're out there somewhere. Pre Tangara gen. would be fine too.
I've searched the net the whole night and found everything but!

Hello there and welcome to the trainz community

it might be worth a look at razorback railway

there are currently 2 different cityrail double decker passenger
the m set
and the s set

both can be found here

whilst saying about razorback you will need to register ro be able to download the rolling stock however registering is free and only takes a minute to do which is well worth it.

Also be aware that these items are for Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 and above

BIG thanks to you Nathan - very much appreciated.

For the interest of other noobz, I have Trainz 2009 and
downloaded the Cityrail S Set and Millenium trains
from Razorback as Nathan suggested.
There were missing dependencies afterwards but they can be
found and downloaded from the same Razorback page (ie pantographs and
bogies).

Thanks to the author too (Jenolan)

The next train coming for Nathan and Jenolan is the karma train.

All our material is suitable for use with TRS2004 (SP4) and TRS2006 (SP1). You're very welcome to try using it in TC or TS2009 but we can't offer any support for those versions of Trainz.

Trouble downloading from Razorback

I was just over at Razorback Railway. Saw some very nice stuff. particularly the 620 720 series. Unfortunately when I try to download them I just get yet another copy of index.php instead of the cdp file .

Am idoing something wrong (I'm registered and logged in).

Don't right-click. Left-click on the "Download File" button near the bottom, which will download a self-installing EXE file. You can save that file wherever you wish. Once it's downloaded, run Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where you saved the file and double-click on it to run it.
