I can't get passed Trainz build 49922 it says "File error while reading patch data.No valid patch operation was specified. Patching aborted."

That sounds like an issue with your copy of the patch file. Have you tried re-downloading it?

If you have to patch do it on a fresh install of 2012, so if it doesn't work for you you've lost nothing. If it's ok you can transfer assets over.

Also, what kuid is this and where can I get it(for the Humpyard kit 2)?

G'day AMTRAKwannabe,
The above is the 'Destination Database Library' created by LLJ and is for Trainz 2004. Can be downloaded from the black pages, make sure you tick the 2004 checkbox. Bear in mind it may not work it TS12.
Also it is now version <kuid2:30671:90002:2>
