Help finding a Coal Mine

I need help finding a coal mine that meets the following requirements:
1. It must be an interactive-industry.
2. A train can be loaded with coal WHILE MOVING at 5 Miles Per Hour.
3. It must have three tracks, all of which must be able to load coal.
4. The mine must only 'produce' coal, not 'consume' coal or any other commondities.
Any suggestions?

True, but a coal mine consuming coal and producing coal, it's like taking one step forward and then one step back.

Check out these two

Ridge Colliery - 4 loading areas - 7 loading points
Brandon Colliery - 1 loading area - 3 loading points

Search the DLS for 'Lola', three track loadout by John Fitzpatrick. You will ned to drop three Lars coal-mine industry tracks under it, but its a nice looking model.....

True, but not as far fetched as one might think. The mine itself does not consume the coal however a large mine does have the ability to blend different types of coal to meet a customers specifications. There are facility's that receive coal from different parts of the US & Canada, blend them and re-ship the blended product.

I know that. The coal mines I'm talking about is MSGSAPPER's coal mines, which began as Bendorsey's, have no place to unload coal, only places to load coal.

...Plus the track has to be included when you download the coal mine.

Why? That's going to exlude a huge proportion of the possibilities.

My next suggestion was going to be anything with TPR_*, but no track on those either.

If you are trying to squeeze max potential into min space, kitbash is your friend. Or should be.....

Plus the track has to be included when you download the coal mine.

The track is most likely built-in & you already have it .BTW how do trains get there without track?

Sounds like what your after is a coal loader & not a coal mine.

Why? That's going to exlude a huge proportion of the possibilities.

I must explain the reason for asking for help:
I origionally was going to use 'Coal Mine Tipple', <kuid:453099:100055>, made by gawpo50, on some routes that I'm planning on putting up on the Download Station. However, I checked on the Download Station and could not find this asset on the Download Station. So, I started this thread for some tips to find a coal mine that could find that can be used in place of 'Coal Mine Tipple', and found on the Download Station.

My favorite is the built in 'Coal Mine Tipple' by gawpo50, it's a rehash of the CS coalmine from TRS2004. The reason I like it is because it runs on Electricity, no deisel required and the trains recognise when the last wagon is loaded.
With some other coalmines the last wagon needs to be a long way from the loading position before the train realises it's finished loading. Must be because of the trigger positions.

Must have been typing this while jordon412 was typing. Jordon412 the 453099:100055 is built in, in TS12.

As Bill says, 'Coal Mine Tipple' is built-in iirc right back to 04, it doesn't need to be on the DLS.

Back on the attached track thing, it might not be clear but it is not the 'coal mine' which is 'industry enabled', it is the track. It makes no functional difference whether the track is attached to the building or simply laid alongside/through/under the building. Using a separate industry track generally allows more flexibility in placement so lots of creators leave it off the model so you can place it exactly where required. That also prevents the annoying situation where you only want to use the building cosmetically, but the attached track shows up in Driver as a possible destination which can't be reached....

. . . . it's a rehash of the CS coalmine from TRS2004 . . . .

Well, I'm tried to find 'cs coalmine' on the Download Station, and I cannot find it. I wanted to find a replacement for Gawpo50's coal mine because when you select the '?' button on surveyor, and it shows the 'VMD' logo. I was concerned that the coal mine had to be downloaded off of VMD's website, but I do not know of any coal mine on their website. Also I'm trying to get the coal mine to load the coal into the hoppper exactly under the tipple. Is the 'CS coalmine' the 'Building Mining Co', <kuid:-1:100433> or 'Building Mine', <kuid:-1:101172>?

And again, if you place a scenery building with a not-attached industry track you can get things to happen exactly where you want them to. And that's my last post on the subject: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.....

Here is what I use, these are loading tracks. "Coal Loader 40" <kuid:141417:1071> on the DLS Trainz 4 will load on the move, one car at a time more or less centered, no effects, only if your hoppers have loading effects. Or you can use "Industry-function as add for 'topae's' Verladestation 60001" <kuid2:80140:28592:1> shown it picture as BI overhead bulk loading, you have to re-configure the config file to load coal, and to show the correct coal texture.

This the BI Bulk Overhead loader, notice the position, product animation, I know wrong color, but you can change it. The yellow object over the track is visible in driver, so you need to hide it under a chute.

This the Coal Loader 40, it also centers the car a little more so than the above , it's a no frills loader. I have used this guy on a 70 car train and all the cars were loaded, no skips, or almost fulls!

Just place one of these tracks under your tipple/chute and there you have it.

Let me show what the problem is:
Image #1 one of Bendorsey's coal mines worked on by MSGSAPPER. The track is, what I call, 'connected' to the mine. The tracks are placed on the route at the same time as the mine. Any car on a train has to be stopped underneath the tipple to be loaded:

Image #2 The properties box of the coal mine above:

Notice the 'Comsumes every minute'. I'm not interested a mine that 'Comsumes'. It consumes and produces 'Coal' <kuid:44179:60013>, made by Auran.

Image #3. Coal Mine Tipple <kuid:453099:100055>, made by gawpo50. All the tracks load 'Coal' <kuid:44179:60013>.

Image #4, the properties box of the above coal mine. Notice the little logo at the top. It says 'VMD', or Virtual-Motive-Division, a third-party company. I have not found any info to tell me that they created this coal mine. It is also not on the Download Station. I would like some tips on where there's one on the Download Station.

Image #5, 'Building Mining Co', <kuid:-1:100433>, made by Auran. A mine like this, with no interactive tracks included, I'm NOT interested in:

In this case, individual interactive tracks have to be placed beneath the mine. This consumes time that I'd rather use to do other things.

Now that I've posted these pictures, I hope that this clears up what I'm trying to say with my posts on this thread.

So where is states consumes, put a zero in those places, it will not consume.

and like Dermmy said "And that's my last post on the subject"

Last word - from me? Never! LOL

I'm not trying to be a smart-A about this and I've got your PM, but sorry I just don't get it! You have found the building you want. To plonk 3 Coal Loader 40s under it takes at a guess a minute - 90 seconds tops - and it does EVERYTHING you want it to. I just don't see why 'attached industry tracks' matter! I've used that building a lot and I've just been through every published EK screenshot and somehow it has managed to elude every single one, but I have it doing EXACTLY what you want in a 1/2 dozen places. You could too.....
