G'Day All, I got the route "Heathrow kuid:101919:1070" for SP3?
I have loaded it in both UTC and TRS2004 but it does not show up in either. How can I get it to show, at least in UTC.
Regards
Barrie

Barrie,

The route was created for "SP 3" - IIRC that's TRS 2004 plus service packs.

You need to make sure that you have your verions of 2004 to SP3 (Service Pack 3) _ IIRC the latest is SP4. This is available from the DLS (sue the tab on the top of the forum screen for the link.

UTC is a much earlier version of the program - I seriouly doubt that there's any way to make it compatible (usually later programs will load routes from earlier versions - but not the other way round)

G'Day Colin, my TRS2004 is V2.4 Build 2370 and from what I have read in the forum it is fully up to date. I put it in TRS2004 and it did not show.

Barrie

Edit:- I tried to open it in the vista mare map utility and it said that the track file was unsupported?

This route has the build number as 3, so wont show in 04. Try and change the build to 2.3 and see if tht works.

Edit Just had a look and it has been modified or sent as a build 3 so has the different file system and wont work in 04. It does work in 09.

G'Day, would be nice if the file has been changed that the suitability be changed too. Then people would not download it and have problems.

When you go to the dls, you can access at the top of this page make sure you only tick the versions of trainz you have. That way you wont download anything that wont run on your versions.
Use the dls to check whether it's ok then you can download it from wherever.

G'Day fran1, In the DLS it says it is for "SP 3" I believe that should make it suitable for TRS2004/6, which apparently it is not. Anyway at the end of the day I deleated it, not worth the hassles.

There were a handful of TS2009 routes mistakenly identified as SP 3 on the DLS. This appears to be one of them...

See, this is what I mean, in that EVERY item uploaded to the download station needs to be checked before it is available for download. How do we now that items incorrectly marked for an earlier version of Trainz, won't corrupt the earlier versions that people may have? If this happened because the download station (& not due to the author of the item) mixed up the versions, then Auran Games Pty Ltd (or whatever it is now) are fully responsible.

Out of curiosity I downloaded it my self and got the same results. The DLS has it as "Trainz Service Pack 3" created by rafael65 date 27th May 2009.
