Having download issues for 3rd Party content requiring DLS.

Hello, I'm new to the forums. I've been having issues over the past few days (since downloading TS12) with abysmal download speed and download limits.
I don't have the 1st Class Pass. Something about it rubs me the wrong way. I have a 300mpbs+ download speed, but the content manager is downloading assets that I need at 5-6kbps. There's also a really weird and confusing issue with a "Daily Download Limit" of 100mb. I have 1.13GB queued in my download manager and it's seizing, lagging, and not downloading assets properly (Along with the fact that at 100mb, it'll take me a little over two weeks to just get through "Asset Set #1"...). I don't understand if it's the software, Auran, or just the game being dated.
Any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Without a FCT (First Class download Ticket), what you describe is exactly what you should have:
- 100 MB daily limit
- 5-8kb / sec download speed
Even a 1000GB/sec connection would not change that.

So with 1.13GB in queue you are looking at 11 days worth of download.

If you indeed have TS12 (as it is not listed next to your name), you might be able to "cheat" a bit by using the in-game downloader for downloading the updates. That thing ignores the 100MB daily limit (but of course only for asset updates).

If you are at all serious about this simulation (as most of us who hang out here are) you may have to join us in purchasing a First Class Ticket, particularly if you will be downloading GBs of assets.

It's a small price to pay for all the blood, sweat and tears that we, as content creators, have gone through to provide you with structures, locomotives, rolling stock, routes, ... . And we do it all for free.

I'm going to bump this, issues are persisting.
I have the FCT now. But I'm running into an issue where I'm still only getting 5-6kbps instead of 70-80kbps+ that I get with TANE. I don't know what to do. I saw that the FCT covers all of the games that are added to your account (I've added TS12 to my account), but I'm getting the issue. I thought that with the FCT I wouldn't have the issue. \
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

TS12 is not appearing on your timeline next to your username but I was not aware that the FCT only worked on TS12 if it was registered to your account - I always thought it worked on all downloads regardless (but I could be wrong there). Put in a Helpdesk ticket (link is at the top of this page) about TS12 not appearing on your timeline.

You have to clear out (cancel) all of your download wishlist list in the Content Manager first ... Then the FCT will attain full speed

Just a thought. You have purchased an FCT but have you activated it? Purchased FCT will remain inactive until activated - so you can have several queued for when needed.

To activate an FCT go the the MyTrainz link at the top of this page. Select My First Class Tickets from the list on the left of the new page and then scroll down to see the list of your FCTs. One (perhaps the only one) should have an activate link on it.
