A Happy thanksgiving to you and your family too, I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving and a blessed upcoming Christmas season. I also hope your turkey turns out well and you don't burn your garage down with the deep fryer...:hehe:

Thank You also for mentioning our military, Godspeed all of them.

I am working today so my Thanksgiving will be delayed until this afternoon.

Thank God for our freedom while we still have it. A happy holiday season to all!

Happy Turkey day to all (mind you the turkeys aint too happy !!!)

Its a family day after all, to celebrate the Indians keeping us Brits alive that first winter after all (70% of founders died that cold winter)

Wonderful message! Let us all give thanks to those who have sacrificed so much so that we may live free and in peace!

Sorry too much arrogance again and as I said contentious. The world is not America's fiefdom and such comments polarise what should be a harmless and enjoyable festival for the people there. Many of us don't want you to think of yourself as the world's policeman and that includes countries that are generally friendly to you. Celebrating the festival is utterly harmless but the other comments are partisan and have no place here. They are not suitable for such a Forum as this but elsewhere.

Indeed Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I will now sit here and enjoy a leftover turkey and stuffing sandwich while playing Trainz.

Well Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Ron, and indeed to any of my friends here that happen to celebrate the holiday. I appreciate the sentiments towards the members of our military, as they are the ones that are typically away from home on this uniquely home themed holiday. I well remember the Thanksgivings I spent deployed while in the Navy, missing the home I left to serve this great nation.

There is no nation represented here that is any better or worse than any other, and in the eyes of each member, their nation stands as tall as any, and that is exactly the way it should be.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Auran and N3VRFail obviosly picked an excellent day to celebrate: Thanks-Taking...It All Away From You...Great Timing !

no, no other places celebrate thanksgiving

Unless I hallucinated a whole day of my life, I'm sure I spent a day with a bunch of other chefs, cooking up a thanksgiving feast for the Canadian embassy in Welllington, New Zealand back in 2001. None of us had made pumpkin pie before so when our first attempt failed, panic ensued but we got there in the end.

We plated up 80 full dinners, trimmings and all and it seemed to go down very well, even for the one diner who was everything intolerant. Can't remember what she got.
