I was going to ask who the design was originally for; the guy who was working on it moved to NYC from C&O in the middle of it. It's a shame, it would've looked good in tricolor.

I believe that man is Robert R. Young.
It was going to be the X-Train but NYC to the idea and made the Xplorer.
It is a Baldwin RP-210 built by Baldwin.
It is pulling the Xplorer.

It isn't a K-28. the URL says K-36

One point for you Hoborailcat! It's K-36 487 plowing snow on the Cumbres and Toltec, not the Durango and Silverton (as far as I know they used it in Spring 2010 to clear the tracks for the trains on opening).
