guess the LOCO game...

Seeing how this thread has been inactive for four months, I think you can go ahead and post the next image. Hopefully we'll see a revival of this thread

If you just looked up EMD 2000 SD40, its a SD40-3MPR :hehe:
PJAMA gets the show the next Q (Because SD40-2 was close) if he wants to or he can call dibs correct?

Gladly. Here we go!

Which Model? (Both long and short model numbers)
Which Three Roads? (First one should be quite obvious.)
What Numbers?
What were they Nicknamed?

You're both right. It's a Baldwin DR-12-8-1500/2 (BH50) Used by those roads. I'll leave out the numbers this time.

Dibs!

This should be an easy one. Give me the whole story on this: What model of locomotive is this? When was it retired? How many numbers has this locomotive had throughout its lifespan and what were they?

It reminds me of the Beep (Half Baldwin Half Geep (EMD))
Wait, it is! (Judging by the GP hood and BLW cab.)
(Just a hint for all those trainzers ;) )

The Famous Beep. Re-Built from VO-1000 #2220 (Made in 1943) in 1970 to become 2450. Renumbered to 1160 to not clash with the CF7's. Renumbered to 1460, then it gained a BNSF patch and other things. It bit the dust in 2008, and survives at the Western America Railroad Museum.
