Now I have a genuine gripe YAY. When I bought 2012 I was given a 3 month FCT >Great except that what I had left on my 12 month one 40 days or so was lost. Now I just bought a 12 month ticket but I didn't activate it because I had 40 days left again.
I got a email to tell me it hadn't been activated so being a good boy and a trusting soul, I activated it. Guess what. My last 28 days of old ticket disappeared. I'm back to 365 days. Auran, When we pay for something, we like all of it.

This is what it says before you purchase a FCT:
"
First Class Access

Once a First Class Ticket has been purchased, you will need to activate it when you wish to start using it.

"

Me thinks you have activated it too soon.

Baz,

The rule is to never activate a FCT until the old one runs out. You might be "off the air" for one day between them, but that's better that losing the month or more you have left on the old one.

I wouldn't think it would be that hard for the help desk person to credit his time lost and issue a new ticket.

I've heard this same complaint before many times and have never heard a happy ending that the customer had been credited for days lost.

I wonder why.

Well ,It just seems strange to me that they operate this way. I thought the first time must have been an error so I submitted a ticket to remind them of the first loss and was told it would be rectified (which it wasn't) I think auran should look into this problem. It could cause them some big problems as far as sales go. Surely it's a simple fix. Other companies don't take away things that they have sold you.
