graphics problem

hi all,
i've recently installed a gtx 550 ti
i'm got a problem with the tree line

do i have to twig the nvida settings to make this right
if so ,be gentle with me as i'm not the a sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to this
done the obviuos things direct x and open gl
muck around with options settings,deleted the said trees and downloaded them and no dice
any help would most greatful

try this turn off compression grahicp in cmp.

Trees

Question....are you using alpha blended trees?

ok what is alpha blended
it's mainly the gum trees
is there a way of fixing this

12 won't render the old alpha blended billboard, cruciform, cross type trees correctly any more. The new standard are the SpeedTrees.

Try changing the alpha to a pure black and white TGA, won't make them perfect but should get rid of the transparency effect.
