Good trees?

Is their any trees that look ok, but don't cause a massive FPS drop when building a route? Getting reeeeally sick of my decent computer not running trainz well with the speed trees. I need some good looking trees that don't wreck my game.

roystrainz collection on DLS is especially low poly while looking good and they are fully seasonal.

If you preview the trees it will give you a triangle count and anything under 2000 is below average. Roys' are mostly under 1000. rmm's trees list their poly count in the name which helps a lot.

I think the fewer different trees you use will help and the fewer mesh libraries they use may help too.

jrfolco's massive WM and B&O mega route only uses 8 speedtrees from 4 mesh libraries and has good performance and looks pretty good too.

In my rework of gawpo50's Norfolk & Western route I used 13 mcguirel speedtrees and I've got pretty good performance.

Cayden's MBC route covers 200 miles and has tens of thousands of trees but performance is good because they are all the same tree.

Speedtrees shouldn't effect performance that much in TANE.

I like mcguirel's speedtrees:

If you are interested in the Speedtrees by RMM or Pofig for T:ANE, you might also be interested in this thread

It's about what their names mean in English. All translations are in a table in the first post, the rest is just discussion.

As far as I know, none of those trees are seasonal.
