I have emailed both Sampug and Whistlehead, Sampug's banning is until May 6, I am not sure about Whistlehead's, but he didn't seem worried about it so it is probably temporary too. I hope so, at least.

A quick suggestion; the edge is less noticeable here if you raise the edge of the baseboard under the water to the water level. This prevents that "edge of the world" cut-off where you see the end of the sea bottom and makes it look more like a distant horizon.
This is a very nice desert. You did well on the texturing so far.
