...if work would only slow down for a bit.

Been having fun learning the rendering and lighting capabilities in Blender too.

So much to do, so much to do...

I will have to see the interiors, If I recall, that was one thing you always neglected, but then again your exteriors are amazing! But that was like 3 years ago. Seems like a lot has changed since then.

cheers

Interiors I have worked on, but not many of them. The thing is, it comes down to development time and other problems (skills, homelife, education - of which I've completed now) all of which affects my work in some way.

here's what I got:

Middle-Level Platforms w/Shelter:

and look closely at this:

If u look closely, it has lots and lots of tiny 'transparent' holes making it see the yellow fences behind it. All made by RubyTMIX for Sketchup

and get this, it has over 147,785 polys and still came out even on my PC. Intel i3 3.30Ghz, nVidia GeForce 8400GS.

I think you should have a good long look at the WIKI to see what the recommended poly limits are. 147,000 polys is way over the top. If this is the result of using Sketchup then much more work needs to be done on the exporter to prevent this.

The myriad of holes is un-necessary, they can't be seen under normal Trainz conditions so why have them.

Hi Peter,

Wholeheartedly agree with you, I made a similar statement in the Aircraft Screenshots where a small supply truck has over a 100,000 polys for a static model.

Cheers,

Bill.

I personaly think "147 785" Polygons are a little bit to big for this small Asset.
Since most forms are angular and not round.
Except for the sun roofs come together .. but since not many poly's.
