This would be in trainz if i knew how to texture and get it working as a locomotive in trainz. :(

GWR Loco

Here's an odd one for you...

GWR Crane 16 taken from the GWR drawings website. I intend to have the crane mechanism fully operable from a pop-up control panel. I have the donkey engine working from the start of the script now. Jib raise/lower, slewing, and hook up/down will all be independently controllable.

I will place a series of attachment points on the hook so that objects can be lifted..(hopefully)

There's a lot of work still to go, but you can see where I'm coming from... I still have to create the textures as well.

Modelled on GMax with my exporter..

Just needs a few finishing touches and she's ready for textures.

Also PEV, I never thought someone would make that loco, very nice!

Something I started a couple of years ago, just before having a graphics card failure. By the time I'd sourced and fitted a replacement, I'd moved on to other things, but decided to revive it a few weeks back as part of my "teach yourself Blender animation" project.

It's intended to be compatible with a style of signal introduced in Trainz Classics 3 (and I think carried forward to TS2010 - must check the ECML next time I have it open) although I did decide to go for a photographic texture on the arms themselves.
