GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

hi, ...

Current maxVersion should rather be directly supplied with an export module for Max.
To ensure the quality for the future, should enable the NV3.
I would even see the material system rather different structure.
Similar to Rail Works.

Your probably right....

We should try to pressure N3V Games to make a max2011 export.

Hi, ...

Sorry for the last OT:

They were frankly stupid, they would make it not iff.
Thus, it would also be more high Payware and this is the future of each simulation.
Only with freeware and Gmax Trainz will not show up in top form.
For really good assets, you also need good tools.
He is also the right then the workflow, a designer needs and benefits from a simulation.

Oh Auran/NV3 hear your disciples ...

Seriously ...
For an exporter needs only a programmer ...

It's not accurate by any means, but it gets the job done.

I still have the office window on the left to make yet, but for the most part it's finished.

Are you aware that there is no Trainz exporter for Max2011. The highest Max versions for which exporters are available are Max9 and Max2008.

Yes i'm well aware of that. When you complete a project in 3dsmax2011 you can export it as a 3ds file. Then using TACS (trainz asset creation studio) in gmax you can import 3ds files. Then re-export it into .im format. Am I the only one whos manage to figure that out because i get alot of people telling me theres no exported for 3ds 2011

I think there is a common blind spot. We are all aware that a gmax file is difficult to load to max, and probably people tend to think that the opposite is also true. I hope your post will help others.

It is very easy infact. The only thing is im not sure how textures are effected when transitioning from 3dsmax2011 to GMAX since I still do all of my texturing in GMAX.
