If you are thinking what I am thinking you are trying to ask (i.e. what is the car known as?) Its a Bombardier/Adtranz/Westinghouse C-100, based on the Atlanta airport examples.

Nice - do I take it the split bunker is there so the driver/fireman can move easily from the cab into the carriages?

more so that the guard/conductor can move between the loco and the carriages (although, more often than not, these locos ran with just one carriage), rather than the driver/fireman. Same goes for the platform on the front and the extended footplate down the tanks
