Nice ones, PerRock and Macan.

One little question to PerRock: Is it true that you need a lower version of SketchUp to convert the mesh to Gmax well and without errors? Because with version 6/7 (demo) I used to have problems with converting.

I always see Klinger and you making some nice models with SketchUp for Trainz. It would be cool if I could achive that too, because I like working in SketchUp :)

The old cliché about the longest journey beginning with one step is still true. Just getting a texture on an object and having it show in Trainz is an accomplishment to be proud of. :)

Now the hard work begins, getting it to show how you really want it to look like.

Thanks for your response, Martin. You're right about the hard workthat will come next, but I wil try to continue!

Greetings,
Ben

Not sure; Klinger uses Sk-Up 5 and has been doing my exporting (as well as touching up my models)

Nice cars PerRock!

You gave me drawings of a MHC-1, do you have them for a MHC-2?
Nope sorry.

Wen: No im not impressed by the coupling either, It's on my "to do" list.

It's based on a BR class 97/6 Departmental Shunter but due to a lack of good photos its had to be guessed in places.

1977 Mobile Home with original front header removed

I created this as a test model to goof around with in trainz 2006.
Fairly low poly.
You can raise it up to about 4.2 meters (14 ft) 'for the flood plains maybe' - I'll have the deck height set to match it.

I will create much better textures for it and finish the separate front and back decks before I upload a cdp.

I have designed the layout of the textures specifically to be re-colored or re-skinned; having separate textures for the siding, windows, doors, skirting and roof. This way you can download 1 model then clone and re-color as many different variations as you want for a mobile home park.

I am having trouble finding the content guidelines for 2009 & 2010 as I would like to make my content compatible with as many ver. trainz that I can.

Oh wonderful the Trainz Cold War, how exciting. Could these weapons get any bigger and weirder? :p

Love the MOW shed too!

Cheers,
Adam
