Well, it looks very much like the "Longmore" in the dutch railway museum in Utrecht. Shipped over here after WWII to help with the rebuilding of the netherlands. I've no idea what class it is though.

If I'd wanted to build a Princess Royal or Fury I'd have got a lot closer than that... The correct answer of course is the 1925 Hughes/Fowler Pacific that was never built. There would have also been a 2-8-2 freight version that would have looked a bit like this:

Ya I figured then but didn't feel like editing.

I looked back a few pages and he's the one with that really long streamlined loco we liked.
