Hi Ice,

So you found the top of an old cast-iron trainmodel in someones dustbin.:hehe:

Greetings from sunny Amsterdam,

Jan

...transmission structures...

 Hello Brickbuilder,

Please remember that all three-primary(phase) lines with three big positive powered wires always have a smaller less diameter wire with smaller insulators for the neutral(ground, negative).

You may not have to string the neutral wire, at your discretion, because it rarely shows up in game, however the placement of the neutral conductor insulator at the top of the structure shows you know your game.

Some transmission structures have two sets of three primaries using only one neutral on top(a vertical pole-structure, some have separate neutrals for each set of three primaries(gantry tower-structures).

...more power to you & thanks!

Let's see if anybody knows what this is...

Paul

That's a Hughes "Crab", built by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. But Crabs were a 2-6-0, not a Pacific! What's going on here? Is this some little known class that has surfaced?
