GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

@Scitimar

...WOW, look very great!

Only a simply Question:
How many polies have it?

Here a "simple" thing from me:
A lime-factory with industry-function and smoke etc.

Tampa Airport RED Airside Shuttle(s)

Hmm, errors:
  • Body looks way too short, or tall, not sure which
  • Lights look wrong, they need to be raked back a bit
  • Screen looks to be raked back too far
  • Needs much more rounding
  • Windscreen looks wrong as well.
Try here for detail pics (Assuming you are making the Westinghouse C100s):

What new exporters? For Gmax too??? :D

Where would I go to get them, read up on them,... (Compatable with 06 also??)

Terry
3DSMax 5-2009 only sorry. And really only for 09 (they sometimes work with 04+, but they aren't meant to be used with them).

If you want to read up on them though, they are on TrainzDev in the wiki :)

@WEN and Bstyles: It's actually the red(there's a blue one too) shuttle at Tampa International Airport.

Actually, Westinghouse/Bombardier C-100's are used, not only in Tampa, they are used in several other airports:
Gatwick Airport
Stanstead Airport
Frankfurt Airport
Atlanta Aiprort
Miami Metro
...
The seating configuration and the livery is the only thing that differs, airports have no seating in the centre (generally), but at the ends and windows. Ones used for towns have the seats in the centre, against the wall.

Davies Patent Railway locomotive...

Something a little different...

Lady Barkly...

A wooden rail locomotive, using a system known as 'davies patent'. Complete failure, but an interesting locomotive to make :)

@WEN: I know, I've been to ATL as well, I just meant that I was modeling the one after TIA. But yeah, the ones you'll find at the Airport are indeed "seatless" except at either end of the car near the windows. I've only got the two seats and the two poles/pillars in between the doors in the center of the vehicle :)

Boredom brings out the best qualities in a 3D modeler. I should know. It took me roughly three days to build and complete this:
