The body mesh is all done, but the bogies will need a little updating before the outside part of the project is complete. Then comes the actual texturing, which will sort out the numbering and other little issues that go into making a model to my standards.

The cab is coming along nicely too but I'll wait a little before posting any renders, due to a lot of custom image work still outstanding. Right now it is just a collection of interior green boxes and will look so much better with all of the lamps, gauges and dials in their proper colours.

I have been looking at this thread for a while now and love the work that is being posted. I have recently started working with Google Sketchup and am wondering, with the other different programs that have been named here, if anyone has imported models into TRAINZ from these other programs? Is it difficult to do as I am not very computer savy? To keep the thread clean any replies can be PMed if you wish.
Thanks
Glen

Looking good everyone:) That railbus looks good WEN. Sorry to ask but didn't you do a version of your 141 with high backed seats? I wanted to know as it would be better suited to one of my reskins.

Sorry to ask

But that was 141v3, which was wrong. It even gained plug doors. On the next SWT furb, I'll be doing a version with a 2 piece rather than 4 piece bus door, rather like the 142.

EDIT: On RB002, I am not sure if the swept up version is better than the previous one.

Two model renders from me: My first successful foray into meshsmooth objects:

Some 'mathematical' renders from me: I've written myself a program that renders fractals.

An approximation of the mandelbrot set. It's not interated enough to be a true representation, and I haven't shown clearly the boundary between numbers converging and diverging.

The interior of the set, done to mroe accuracy

Another random shape I generated with the program.
