Actually if you have Sketchup Pro, you can.

Im using an older, Sketch up 5 rather then the new version of 6. Using the old pro demo and the old version of google sketchup 5, it is possible to import models into trainz. Go download my Tardis and Island Station models for proof if you don't believe its possible.

Nice ship Klinger and yes export as a 3ds file import into Gmax and texture and export to trainz that simple

Never really got the hang of texturing in Gmax, i just export the textures I use in Sketchup....I just make sure to darken them (a mistake I did not learn until after I made the TARDIS and the Station)
