GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

The key I found is that one armature depends or its linked on another ...
Thanks. Also what would be the best way to copy it to the other side? (Using mirror can't set each side at opposites).

I just copy each b.r. , Clear Parent, and move at X to its new place and then rebuild your Parent .
For other side Armatures , same procedure ... but correcting IK properties (targets, parents, bone constraints)

Hey Guys, So I finally did it... I've completed the Frame of my SP GS-3. Now I know the Cast Cylinders aren't on it as I've just ordered the drawings for them and they'll be arriving in a month from the scanning/printing service the California State Railway Museum uses to print reproductions from the original drawings, but I'm very happy how my frame has come out and hope to keep getting this engine built.

Thanks,
Logan Thurman

Frame placed with wheels.

glad to see you kept on working on developing your skills despite all the earlier negative comments. Looks good.

As far as I can work it out, this is what fully animated walschaerts valve gear should look like... note that the lifting link needs to move as well and as it has a fixed length the die block oscillates in the expansion link. This is the first one I've done that actually works fully. The gear is set in forward as the die block is below the expansion link pivot.

All I can say is "wow!~!" I'm just trying to remember what it is. "Boston Crab" springs to mind -- but that's wrestling. Hugh's Crab?
