GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

I reckon these turned out great, most of these where converted to VQOF, VQEF and VEOF Container Flat Wagons from 2001 under Freight Australia.

Cheers.

Thanks guys! I'm quite pleased with how it's turning out now! :)

That's amazing, Zec! I wonder if it could be "Americanized" for us Westerners? :D

I'm actually planning on having a go at this! It'll be a fairly big job, as it's currently broad gauge (5ft3in). I'm not quite sure how to make it standard gauge at this stage (the firebox is a bit wide for it!) :)

Will have to wait and see on that though :)

Fantastic start there Steve! Interesting having the odd box pok style driver in there...

Hi All
I thought I'd show something a little different here :)

oh-look-another-one-14.jpg

The highest (including all of the main submeshes), and lowest, LODs of my VR T van model. The high LOD is around 27,000 triangles, plus the couplers, hoses, and any scripted items or loads. The lowest LOD is 22, with all attachments culled. I currently expect the lowest LOD to come in at about 1000m (around 3000ft) from the camera, where it will only take up a very small part of the screen.

Regards
Zec

I love what you have done to it the old style headlight, olive green, and the other tender modifications look great, but it looks as though it started a great model.

still lots of texturing to do... there is some detailing I did on the undercarriage I'm going to be regretting having to map soon!

The interior model (for now) isn't meant to be a cab-view. Just something to see thru the windows so textures & details are lacking.

Nice one peter! Looks kinda like magicland's style of making the EMU, I can tell of the texturing as well as the green windows. Still amazing though!

The green windows are because Metra uses an absolutely wonderful green tint that makes it impossible to get any sort of decent photo while riding :)
