GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Amazing work from everyone. I`m really jealous! Its my lack of time and skill that does that! :hehe:
Anyways, remember guys, normal and specular maps! T:ANE is comming!

More work done on the Ac4400cw. It actually kinda looks like one now! (Excuse the fuel tank completely rebuilding it now and it looks like crap)

Wow! Looks incredible! I love, love, love it! I do think that the back stairwell area sticks out a little too far, though. Are you going to bump map it?

May I urge you JackieG to look at the radiators. The way you currently have your radiators set up isn't like any locomotive in existence. See below:

Juda- I agree with you when you say the rear deck sticks out to far I will address it to make it a prototypical size.

PerRock- I must have overlooked that! I will fix that area to, looks like a simple fix!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and constructive criticism! This is my first model and I want to make it the best it can be!

If I may point two things out jackie.

1. The plow on the front is much to thick.
2. The rear end of the engine does not sport a plow. It should be flat.

I must say though, marvelous model so far. Aside from the two I pointed out and the radiators. Cant wait to see it when you finish. Keep up the good work man. :)

For the doors, I would very highly recommend texturing them on. Very few locomotive doors stick out from the surface, but rather sit practically flush. 3D doors feel like additional detail, but they really are decreasing realism.

Wow! Very good for your first model!

Been working on this for 2 days straight, looks GREAT!

And a new coal texture I'm using also makes things better!

Hot dayum Jackie G that looks good :) If you pay as much attention to detail at texturing as you do your model weathering, ull be on to a winner
