GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

I think Simulatortrain means something like this

The fuel tank sits below the frames with the mounts on the ends.

Cheers.

Modeling locos from photos will rarely end with good results. Dimensions are essential and diagrams are cheap or free.

Locomotive is now at 76% percent. Next I will add the rear vents and ladder on the back along with light then do the other side with the handrails. [/QUOTE]

Something is wrong with that cab, I think the front windows and surrounding frame needs to be set at an angle leaning back, and the top of the cab needs to overhang more over the windows.

Nah, it's a NZR Baldwin. The SMR Consolidation is actually Consolidation, the very original model custom built for a small mining company that needed a larger engine to grow. It was actually built in the 1860's, not 1880 as SMR would have us believe. This model, however, is an 1879 freight loco with 3' drivers and a max speed of 18mph. These engines were NZR #s 101-106, and were very powerful.

WOW! how did this get past me... great to see another NZR creator enter the scene. I look forward to more progress!

Will :Y:

No pic on the T class, as its tenders and wheels still need texturing. Should be ready for export by tomorrow though.
In the mean time, I've been bringing up a baby Daylight.

If you've been to the Strasburg railroad you might recognize this...

I have no knowledge on piston animations nor 3d face creation so this project will probably never be finished, so might as well show him off.

Cheers
