Locomotive is now at 76% percent. Next I will add the rear vents and ladder on the back along with light then do the other side with the handrails.

Ok, so no matter what instant image hosting site I use, it wont post the proper image size. 1680 x 1050. This forums needs a photo attachment upload option like Shanes Trainz forum does

Very nice! Two things: 1) The grill on the split cooling hatch needs to be higher. Dimensions are right but it's too dang low. 2) The appearance of that fuel tank isn't right. I'll show you in a sec what it should look like on my SD49.

I have fixed the height of the cooling vent and the tank is only a stand in for sizing. Remember this is my first try at making a diesel.

That's just for the shape. In reality there's supposed to be a several inch thick block prior to the fuel tank that allows more space for the fuel caps and the air tanks.

You had the block right...It appears that it is no longer there. The curve of the fuel tank starts much higher than where you have it.

The dimensions are REALLY off, I'd suggest starting over with some SD60 diagrams as a guide. idk if you can find diagrams of the Crescent cab online.

I hate fuel tanks, which is why I stick to building steam. As for the diagrams. I use actual photos when making any models. I will just reshape the first tank.

You can always stick a picture on there or a few and model off of them. My C32-8 will probably be my most accurate model to date because of that.

I cant do that because I constanly move the camera around, plus it wouldnt be very useful since I work fast. Started this wednesday, didnt work thursday thdn worked all day friday and today.

If the "block" you are talking about is supposed to be something above the fuel tank, it doesn't exist. You should be able to see daylight above a fuel tank if you look at the right angle.
