GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

That's cool, Ed. Though I think it's time for me to play the part of Nick now and suggest you put a few more polys in that brake hose. It's the only thing that I can even see angles in, so great work, and it looks gorgeous...in an odd sort of way. Your whole fictional loco fleet is coming out very nicely, I think. I run the Pacifics every once in a while with the mainline carriages, and it's great fun.

I'll have to check what the vac pipes look like in game. Trainz will be far more forgiving than a render, particularly when you consider the viewing angles involved.

Having checked another loco using the same vac pipes in game you can't notice it, so I'm leaving them as they are.

Interesting designs you've got going, Ed. Its great to see something looking aged and classic but being totally original :D

I agree. Tigertrain88, that Metro North M8 is gonna be way better than awesome :). Great work there. What programs do you use to build models for Trainz? So far I have used Google Sketchup.

Thanks for for the comments everybody!:)

I now use Blender to make models instead of Sketchup. I guess you could say I moved on. :p

Nice, I should learn how to use Blender soon. It looks alot better than Sketchup. Is it difficult to learn or similar to Google Sketchup?

Looking good, Aaron! Always been more of a fan of the simple expansion NAs but the pair of compound locos sure were an interesting sight :D

I'm not going to pretend that this is anywhere near prototypical, it's actually an Amtrak HEP converted ex-CB&Q 10-6 sleeper, but I got distracted and decided to show some love to our oft-neglected northern neighbors. (On hostthenpost which has been having some trouble today if you can't see it)
