Jerker
The bricks are not correct. The joints are not each other.
The tiles of the texture of the brick is very striking.

More Details ..
Do we need the "reflective phones" ..
Since they have to rework again.:hehe:

I personally do not like so much.
Not impressed me.

ICE

The 2 screen shots you are showing of the B2 and the M1 tank, are they your own created models? As I can d/load from certain web sites these 3D models (if I want to) in a similar state of creation. If they are your created ones, I do apologize for doubting but still....

Re critizising Jerker's AMAZING signal house, far be it for me to critizise this particular model as I think this is extremely well done. So what, if the phone is reflective, who cares! It is well done, this is what I say.

Whether Jerker ever releases this fine piece of modeling in the state it is in as shown, this is up to him. If you don't like it, normally I would say to you: Stiff "cheddar" but I am not saying this. Instead I would say, DO NOT d/load it if you do not like it.

Sheesh.........

In general, I haven't frequented this screen shot forum very often, I can see what I have been missing :hehe:. Thanks to all creators showing off their own creations, well done .

Cheers

@vinnybarb

Lol .. the Military screens are old photos from a MaX Render Animation Movie from me.(2002)
Did I say the word with one of the models are built from me?
Animated by me ... but they are also rendered.
It here a Render Thread?
Would they tell me I can not build such simple models? Lol, i say peanuts..Models.

For Jerker ..
Jerker has distinguished himself here in the forum as a brick expert, he makes himself but scrap.
The bricks do not fit this hole, except to the poor is to be tiled ... ...

Criticism so he can make good use of.
So they spare me with their babble.
For any NOTcontent creators, it may well be good .. for other non-experts like me .. soory not. .
The Signalhouse looks strong tiled.

Have a nice Day..

ice

PS
Incidentally, I've built so many models, as others have hair on his head.

Yes indeed realistic fantastic the UVW's and the tile.
Bricks and joints are wrong ... if you look at the window submissions.
Such stones are not there.

Whether one has probably ever heard of seamless textures making..
The mesh is right and fine, textures not.

One can look like with the icetelescope;)

Jerker's Box

I think maybe Jerker is playing with this one, seeing how much detail can be put in, and I think he's done a great job.
As far as bricks not lining up, well, it's difficult enough doing a normal shop/house but from what I see they do pretty much match at corners, which is where the usual problems on my creations happen.
But if you go in extremely closely as some of those shots do, then small errors are bound to be noticed. I mean, would you normally go up to a building and examine the bricka at about 2 feet away?
Personally I think it is a great piece of content and would grace any American or Oz route (for which it is designed I think).
Metal shiny things are reflective, they don't look like the doormat, so they are correct for the purpose, as is the fire extinguisher, both very well done.

However, whether it is advisable to have this much detail in a model is another matter, what kind of poly count are we looking at for instance.
But as a one-off test of skill I think Jerker has done a good job.

Well done!

Angela

What made you come up with that? I don't think anyone's tried to do a telescope before.

@ThuleP
No ?
Here is a Renderthread ...and you looks on a Renderpic.;)
Mr ThuleP clap, they still a little in hand.
Maybe they get the model even then a little faster.
It is in the Trainz Freeware Scene no secret that every mesh is applauded .. no matter how bad it is.
So no one can tolerate criticism.

@angelah
Just a few weeks ago, the fine gentleman Jerker, is still a few bricks that have it do not seem to fit excited.
Now he makes himself such a coarse texture error because not a little criticism to be allowed.
The Signalbox Mesh looks good.

Mr Ice, get over it.

ANYONE can voice an opinion here but whether YOU would like such opinion is another matter. If YOU would like to criticize the creations I did so far for TRS/TS (just d/load some), go ahead, you can criticize ALL you would like about my models here, but I simply would NOT loose any sleep over it. That is me, some few other people, as can be seen here are more sensitive to this.

I wonder why?

As I had my own experiences in the past in THAT particular other forum YOU usually post, I certainly found this out myself and hence, I now know why :hehe:.

Cheer up, the world is dreary enough as it is, lets brighten it up a bit and keep it that way :p.

Read the title...

 Then leave it alone or someone will discover how many bricks it takes to make a load...:o

"gmax & 3dsMax(and any other modeling program) screenies/renders....":D

If someone makes a critique, great. Take it kindly, or let it go or whatever...;)

This has become a beautiful sorta kinda family thread, take it up in PM...:p
