Are their any for tutorial for re skinning with gimp

the methods of resinking are all the same no matter which software you use if that helps. To be a good reskinner you need to have good working knowlage of your chosen tool.

I could be wrong, but I believe that he is looking for a tutorial to gain said knowlage/knowledge on how to use a program like gimp.

Gimp is quite easy to use - you just need to play about abit and work out what does what. Didn't take me long to learn how to use it, but I'm sure you can find something on youtube or something.
