gimp 2.6

I downloaded it off the internet and it says this program may cause harm to your computer. Has anyone had this problem, if it will really harm your computer, and does anybody know of where to get gimp 2.6 without it harming your computer?

As said, if you go to the official site and get it from there, it's absolutely allright.

The current version is 2.8.2, but 2.6.8 is fine too, that's the one I'm using here.
