getting TIGER data in Microdem

I have been combing the forum for 2 days now and am about to pull out what little bit of hair I have but I can not for the life of me seem to get the TIGER data to work in Microdem. I can go to the website and get it and install it in "c:/mapdata/nc" I can get it to say the overlay is there but I dont see anything. PLease help

It should be in c:\mapdata\tiger\nc

A common mistakeis to unzip the tiger download, it should be left zipped.
