Could you make a pile with the terrain tool and paint it with gravel or ballast texture?
The water intake is the bridge thing at the base of the dam, sticking out of the mist. It should be at the top of the dam in the reservoir.
Overall, it looks good. You're doing a great job.

The area where I want the piles has a bunch of digholes in it, as well as a few "sensitive" objects, so I was looking for an asset.

Btw thanks for clearing up the dam thing.

There's an elevated line present becuase of how low the normal track is. If it rains even a little bit the bottom line could become unusable.
