Looking good so far, might wanna add a few hills though, not every part of Germany is so flat (either that or your trying to model Ostfriesland).

I plan on having the area around the river there mostly flat, with lots of hills then mountains outside.

The amount of trees I had down was beginning to hurt the framrate, so to keep it up to speed I decided to just use mountains in the background instead. Looks good, too.

Here is a small village outside the mountain range. :)

Dear Chris,
Your dam has an statical problem.
The wall has to go not "convex", but "concave". ;)
If You understand my weak English.

Edit: nevermind, I figured out what you meant. I'll make sure to fix that (also on the list: Add more spruces and pines ;))

I am beginning to think no one is interested in this route.

If that is the case I will still continue working on it, but some comments or opinions would still be very nice.

FSP is right, if you look at photographs of the Hoover dam on the Colorado river, you'll notice the water intake towers for the generators are on the other side (and usually there is more than one). Having it on the low side where there is no incoming water pressure is kind of useless, its like having a water mill on a two foot stream:p
