my guess was that the 4960 was purchased by the grand canyon in 1989

The difference between Strasburg Rail Road #90 and Grand Canyon (ex-Chicago, Burlington and Quincy) #4960 can be researched over the internet. Stop asking and take the time to research your question. I know the differences, but I won't waste my breath revealing every single difference. All I'll say is this. One is a "Mikado" (2-8-2) type and the other is a "Decapod" (2-10-0) type.
