Hi

I have downloaded the above tender into TS12 and one side is not showing properly. The nearside of the tender does not appear and you can see the coal in the tender. Does anybody know how to rectify this please.

Somehow the side has gotten itself mapped to the coal texture. A similar problem was reported in another thread a few days ago. I suggest you contact the author as he is the only one who can fix it.

It looks the same in both TS12 and TS10.

Just checked this and, yes, there is this major fault with the tender. This loco and tender were uploaded to the DLS some years ago - how come no-one was paying attention?

This is the fix for the above that was at http//forum.co.uk for the LNER O4 Rod Tenders

First find all the O4 tenders in CM. now open them all for edit (you should have 3xBR, 1x LNER, and 2x Aussie tenders if you have them all installed)

Now open the "Body" folders (They will be called something like "br_black_ger_tender_body")

Once in this folder create a new folder and call it "loafd". Now select the following files; coal.tga, coal.texture, coalbump.tga, coalbump.texture, load.im & load.kin and move them into the new folder "load"

Once you have done this open the config.txt in notepad and change the following lines

From
mesh "BR_black_GCR_tender_body/load.im
anim "BR_black_GCR_tender_body/load.kin

To
mesh "BR_black_GCR_tender_body/load/load.im
anim "BR_black_GCR_tender_body/load/load.kin

Once you have done this to all the tenders just "commit" them to save the changes, they should be fixed.

Hope this works

They were, but no fix was made at the time. The subject comes up every now and again, and I,m pleased that someone saved my original fix instructions!

YES! It works! At last I can use the right tender for my Robinson RODs! No more incorrect proxy tenders.

Thank you so much for this fix.
