Gas Turbine Loco....need help !!

Hi
I'm running TS12 and would like to use the UP Gas Turbine loco ( as I did i TRS2006 ) but it stays " red " and has a fault which I cannot fix.

Its telling me that the problem is with " kind.... traincar " and I don't know how to solve it, I've tried taking this line out but that does not help either.

Its so annoying that lots of earlier items will not work in TS12 ?
Maybe of course its just me ! as I have virtually no techno skills when it comes to computers

If you are talking about the UP GE 8500HP Gas Turbine A-Unit that is on the DLS, I loaded it and the B-Unit into TS12 with no faults showing.

Thanks for reply. I noticed you called it UP GE, whereas I had it as GE UP ? so I deleted mine and got it again ( your version ) from the DLS and it works fine !!

Both by the same creator but my first one would not work.
Anyhow thanks for helping me solve this problem

If you wanted to fix the first version you tried also, it's:

kind "traincar"

Hi

Its having " kind...traincar " that caused the problem with it, saying it did not recognise it !!.

The latest one is ok except that the in cab view is totally white and lacking any colour ? William is yours like this also ?

How do you fix this ?

It looks like the graphic files for the cab need to updated.

Hi

Change it from " kind...traincar " to kind traincar with nothing in between except a few spaces, and nothing before or after. Insert it exactly as I typed it, and make sure to replace the old kind tag with this one.

I know this reply is extremely late but i'm currently downloading the gas turbine A unit and B unit for Trainz a new era and wondering if the fixes mentioned here will still work on that game or if there's more steps i have to take to fix the faulty dependencies problem.
