garbage texture!!!!!!!!

does anyone know where i can download a garbage texture for my landfill or suggested textures for my landfill. i tried looking in the DLS and i couldnt find anything

If you haven't tried it already, you might want to go to Google Earth to a known landfill near you and see what it looks like from above. This might suggest a number of textures available on the DLS or that you already have that will be useful. As far as the trash itself is concerned I'm sure someone will come up with something for you.

ya, im modeling the landfill in barstow, so i got the area around the landfill figured out i just need a garbage texture inside the landfill. i thought about using the scrap texture, i comes pretty close to garbage.

Use the icon texture from <kuid2:81150:24:2> , bulk garbage, It's built in and you can goo to the DLS & get Barge Float Garbage <kuid:60238:15027> and use the texture from that.

It's in the file folder of the kuid.

Using CM3.3, I looked for textures-environmental with names including 'scrap'. I got this list;

Scrap Metal 1,<kuid:58223:21020>
Scrap Metal 2,<kuid:58223:21021>
Scrap Metal 3,<kuid:58223:21022>
Scrap Metal 4,<kuid:58223:21023>
Scrap Metal 5,<kuid:58223:21024>
Scrap metal,<kuid:129654:19100>
Scrap Metal,<kuid2:129654:19100:1>

Names including 'waste' only gave this;

Treatment Plant 42 v1 Waste Water Sewage Texture 00,<kuid:58223:21060>

Searches on 'garbage', 'rubbish', 'landfill' returned nothing.

Seems like there's an opening for some creator to stop making the millionth grass texture and start making garbage!

You can also look up recycled on the DLS and copy the textures from those kuids. Using a clone of one of the scrap metal kuids, it's simple task to copy/paste & subtitute the required textures.
