Gantry Signals

Hi all - am running TRS2006 ver 2.6 build 3335. To be honest I have never had nor do I see me having any interest in trains. However i love this game which I came across purley by accident and have not been able to leave it alone since instalation, but the last few months have been a very steep learning curve with lots of trial and errors especially with signalling and driver commands, and after reading alot of the threads on these forums I can see that its only going to get steeper as I'm probably still within the first 1% of said curve.
Anyway my question is, I'm using simple BR 3 aspect signalling and am wanting to use gantry mounted signals for part of my route, are there any in the box items (could be me not recognising whats in front of me ) or do I need to download these items and if so could some one please direct me to them.
P.S. If poss would rather stay in box if possible because if this route eventually works out I might attempt to upload it just to show you how manic a none train enthusiast can get with such an involved game.

Thanks to all help offered before hand Dave.

Maybe they're not called gantry in the UK. I have been building only US routes, so the term gantry is correct. But it always seems that our friends over in UK land say things differently.:D

That said; the gantry signals should be located in the same list as the regular signals.
Maybe try "overhead" or "top" or something like that. Hopefully, someone in the UK will respond with the correct term for gantry.

Hello to all,

Yes, the term Signal Gantry is used in America as well as here in the United Kingdom, if your looking for UK Gantry signals, you might find them under G in the signal menu, they should look similar to this...

G 3aspect
G 4aspect

If not do a search for the name UK signals, you will find gantry signals listed, They are in Trainz, I have seen them there, I bought the Railwaves ones as I found these better than what I had.

Hope this helps

gantry are as far as im aware been in trainz from before 04 version. You will find the gantry in the objects spline tab and the signals to put on then in the signals section I think they were called UK Gantry.

I think your right Stagecoach, UK Gantry does sound very familiar, I've been currently trawling the very slow DLS trying to find the real name of the gantry signals.

I think they are under the names like...

UK Gantry aspect 4

or

UK Gantry 4 aspect

or something very similar to the above, just have a search through Trainz, I'm sure you'll find them.

Thank you Stagecoach for your help, it was bugging me trying to think what they were called.
