Game lagging

I have been downloading stuff over the past few days. But would it cause the game to lag in driver and surveyor. Here what's happening, when I go into surveyor every thing is fine, but when I start adding locomotives and rolling stock. It starts lagging. It only does this when I add 25 or more cars. I am only adding cars and locomotives that I downloaded. This is a built in route. I did a diag test and everything passes. I haven't tried adding things to a downloaded route yet. Because I can't get the CMP to download anything. It try's to download but I never does anything.:n: very frustrating because my first class ticket runs out on the 24th. I am downloading rromds content " VERY NICE STUFF". So I haven't downloaded anything from the CMP yet, because i can't get it to work. How do I fix this?

maybe the graphics are to high,try lowering it,and if that doesnt work,try getting a better graphics card

What setting is that, and what should I set it to?

Instead of Launching Trainz, click on Options instead. In the Advanced Options settings, try moving the sliders to the left and see if this helps.
